Sarah - Dog Trainer and Instructor

Sarah, an experienced ADTB approved instructor has been involved with dog training for over 12 years. She started by training her mother in laws German Shepherd and then went on to train both her English Springer Spaniels with Woodmansterne Dog Training club. On completion of both her dogs’ diplomas, Sarah was asked to assist the instructors in class. Sarah spent a number of years shadowing the WDTC instructors who were predominantly Met Police Dog trainers or dog behaviourists, before being asked to instruct classes of her own at which point she completed her bronze level training with the Academy of Dog Training and Behaviour. Sarah has spent many years successfully assessing, training, fostering and rehoming English Springer Spaniels, firstly with English Springer Spaniel Welfare and more recently with the newly formed Just Springers Rescue.

Sarah lives at home with her husband, two young children and two English Springer Spaniels, one with a mild form of OCD, which over the years has proved both challenging and extremely rewarding as he is now a settled, happy dog. She also loves horses, and is currently bringing on a 2 year old New Forest Pony.
